Part IV | The Dreaded Truth | Midnight Moonlight
Inside the bar, the Dragon Caller played "Midnight Moonlight" [1] on a blue mandolin.
"If you ever feel sorrow for the deeds you have done, With no hope for tomorrow in the setting of the sun, And the ocean is howling for the things that might have been, And that last good morning sunrise will be the brightest you've ever seen..."

Outside the bayou's bar, shots rang out and Charlene screamed at the top of her lungs. Abeline was dead. Her head slumped over the fortune telling table and the tarot cards lay scattered on the ground. The Amethyst crystal was nowhere to be found. Charlene gathered her cloak around her small shoulders and ran.
Inside the bar, the Dragon Caller picked at another song. Lively chatter started up again amongst the clientele, and a wealthy patron offered his guests another round of drinks. Timur, a slight, wisp of a man from Brunei entered the bar, wiping off a sawed-off shot gun.
Alastair, a tall, hulking man who guarded the entrance asked, "What is the meaning of this Timur?" Timur handed the shotgun over to the bartender and asked for a whiskey sour.
"Abeline was eclipsed by something much bigger than she is on a Black Moon night in the bayou's shrouded realm and Charlene is gone. We could not give away the location of the Pink Pearl, and Charlene was the last person we wanted to have this information."
"Where is the Pink Pearl? Perhaps it should be kept in secret, so there isn't any danger of it being discovered." Alastair set his empty glass down on the bar.
Timur downed the rest of his whiskey in one gulp, "I'm not sure."
Just then, Asante stormed in, his cloak billowing out behind him. "What happened to Abeline?"
Timur responded first, "We had an unfortunate incident this evening Asante. Abeline was about to reveal the location of the Pink Pearl to Charlene. Now, Abeline is dead and Charlene has fled."
Asante finished his whiskey in one huge gulp. "What about the Pink Pearl?"
"I have no idea where this pearl is Asante," Timur was uneasy. "I thought you might know."
Asante ran his fingers through his hair, "We need to find it Timur. This can't be left to the winds of fate. We need more help."
